Opeth live @ Rockefeller, Oslo, Norway 19.09.05

Was a bit nervous before this gig as it was kind of like a test for me ;o)
Extol and Opeth were the first bands I shot with my 10D, and shooting
them again was a test to see how far I've come with my photography ¦o)

The lighting was great in the sense that it was easy to shoot and gave
good details as white and yellow always does, but boring since they
never changed the colours (I have _one_ image with blue light, and it
was pure luck!).

Info on the shot:
Shutter Speed: 1/125 second (should've gone higher!)
F Number: F/3,5
Focal Length: 28 mm
ISO Speed: 800
Flash: noup

Digital:
cropped away dead air,
worked with the levels (it was originally _almost_ overexposed)

Damn you. Can i please have your job? =)
Great shot, as usual. Quite emotional, regarding Mikael's facial expression. Nice work, in two words. :)

digging the pure black/figure and lights contrast, this and the tones remind me of ghost reveries cover

I guess that was exactly what they wanted to achieve by using the same lighting
throughout the whole gig. Making us all think of Ghost Reveries. It went well with
the songs they picked out too, it was all just very 'new' and "Ghost Reveries! ¦o)

Haha! I'd give you my job any day, cause shooting bands isn't my job ;o)
This I do for fun, as I write reviews for a webzine ¦o)

Wouldn't it be great to get paid to do something as fun as this though?
:iconlllaria:
oh, I see :D that sounds/look nice and moody
