Extol, live @ Rockefeller, Oslo, Norway 19.09.05

This was the second time Extol were opening for Opeth here in Oslo,
though this time Opeth brought Extol with them on the whole tour, not
just letting them open in Norway ;o) Seems like most people think
they are boring, and I'm definitely one of them...

But it's cool actually... The first time I saw them opening was also
the first time I used my 10D at a concert! My first upload of them
was a lucky shot --> [link]

It's funny to see how I've changed since then ¦o)

Nice shot. =)
I saw them, when they were opening the show for Opeth in Cologne this month. But well I´m not one of those people, who think that they are boring. ;)
But I still can´t understand why the vocalist got his looong hair cut :tears:

Veldig bra bilde! Morsomt å se utviklingen din fra forrige gang du tok bilder av dem :) Både teknisk og innholdsmessig synes jeg dette bildet er mye bedre enn ditt første. Jeg var faktisk også der første gangen Extol varmet opp for Opeth, men da hadde jeg tatt bilder i to måneder og var fryktelig uerfaren. Film brukte jeg også, så det var omtrent bare lykketreff på meg :P Men det er da det er morsomt å se at man blir flinkere og at det faktisk er lys i enden av tunnelen... Hehe. Veldig metaforisk humør i dag :)

Alt i alt: veldig bra bilde! Jeg liker at fyren er litt anonym, i og med at man ikke ser ansiktet hans. Samtidig er det masse liv i bildet, armen, stativet, håret. Og jeg digger fargetonen. Well done! :)

Fave for you! I like Extol a lot, but I can see why people, especially metal fans, think they're kinda boring. I have two CDs yet I only know any words to about four songs. Thanks for thinking to take a picture of them.

I love this one. The light is perfect. Love the tone of the whole picture. I've looked through your gallery and you've got some great shots - but this one is my fav. I like the suggestion of his body and the music (through his stance/movement).

And funny, we have the same camera. CANONS ARE THE ISH. :-) I am impressed actually that you got this at that f-stop. Very nice.
